RECITALS 2025, are 1:00p and 5:00p at SOUTH Side High School, 3601 S Calhoun Street, 46807
Auditorium doors are on the north side of the building.
Use the circle drive to access the ramp.
Parking is on the north side of the building.
1:00 Dress Rehearsal--Thursday, May 29, starting at 4:30p at SOUTH Side High School
5:00 Dress Rehearsal--Friday, May 30, starting, at 4:30p at SOUTH Side High School
Show #1--Saturday, May 31, at 1:00p at SOUTH Side High School (dancers arrive at 12:15p)
Show #2--Saturday, May 31, at 5:00p at SOUTH Side High School (dancers arrive at 4:15p)
DRESS REHEARSAL NOTES!!
WE ARE REHEARSING IN A BLOCK SCHEDULE SO MOST DANCERS WILL NOT HAVE TO BE AT REHEARSAL VERY LONG.
THE ORDER WE REHEARSE THE DANCES IS NOT THE ACTUAL SHOW ORDER.
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE ACTUAL SHOW ORDER (TBA), TO KNOW WHICH COSTUME TO ARRIVE IN. THANKS!!
ONLY ONE PARENT ATTENDS DRESS REHEARSAL WITH THEIR DANCER(S).
DANCERS SIT WITH THEIR CLASS IN THE AUDITORIUM DURING DRESS REHEARSAL. PARENTS SIT BEHIND THE DANCERS.
DANCERS IN MORE THAN ONE DANCE WILL HAVE A LIMITED TIME TO CHANGE INTO THEIR NEXT COSTUME AT REHEARSAL.
DANCERS ARE FREE TO LEAVE DRESS REHEARSAL AFTER THEIR PERFORMANCE(S).
Premiere Dance Co. is not responsible for your dancer while they are waiting to perform and/or after they perform and return to their seat.
Dancers wear their full costume, stage hair and make-up to dress rehearsal.
PLEASE REFER TO THE CHECKLIST FROM OUR PORTRAIT DAY FOR HAIR, SHOE, AND TIGHTS REQUIREMENTS.
We know some families may be rushed after work, but please do the best you can for rehearsal as it helps us determine if we need to change anything.
Have all parts of your dancer's costumes including hair accessories, tights, all shoes, etc. Please label everything!
Dancers should not wear underwear with most costumes. The exception is if they are wearing just pants without tights for hip hop etc.
Dancers should not wear jewelry or nail polish.
Please make sure you have the correct skin-toned bra if needed.
Hair and make-up tutorials were emailed. Let us know if you need the Youtube links again.
RECITAL NOTES!!
Enter the auditorium doors on the north side of the building and take your dancer to the band and choir rooms (dressing areas).
If you are a recital volunteer you will start to gather your group.
If you are a spectator, you will wait outside the auditorium for the doors to open.
The outside auditorium doors are handicapped accessible via a ramp in the circle drive.
Doors open for spectators at 12:25p, 4:25p, respectively.
RECITAL NOTES:
NOTE!--DANCERS STAY BACKSTAGE WITH THEIR CLASS DURING THE ENTIRE RECITAL.
*Female parent/guardians are allowed to enter the dressing rooms during the recital to help your dancer change.
Please do not leave the auditorium during dances as this will interrupt our video and other parent’s view.
**all dancers in classes younger than 11+ will have a gold wristband included in your ticket envelope.
This is to be worn on the right wrist at RECITAL only.
Please put the wristband on at HOME and cut the excess.
Your last name will be on the tear-away tab and your dancer’s full name and phone number will be on the wristband.
You will use the tear-away tab to identify yourself at the end of the recital/dismissal from the dressing room area.
Please be patient during dismissal.
